Charitable Days

13 Aug

invictus

Days are made charitable by their absence ,

best off intruding someone else’s eviscerated

existence rather than mine ;

Time was when I felt

that I had time ,

some substance of it

in my backpocket ready for

rainy days that sort of thing ,

but no , days are not like that ,

monstrous they are great

impervious behemoths with their

unrelenting array of hours ,

all twenty-four of them ;

count them then count them again ,

absence makes the heart grow fonder ,

in their case absence makes

the days grow longer ,

or so it seems to one with

the imprint of the day’s boot

on my face where it had stamped down

with an indifference peculiar to time ;

tick tock tick tock as though time didn’t care ,

which of course being Time it can’t possibly can it ?

Days espouse nothing other than…

What Absolution Feels Like..

13 Aug

My good friend

invictus

She’d worn her bright red skirt

low cut top and boots as usual,

Saturday nights were just too

slow without them;

after she’d left the “Diamond Bar”

there’d been a ruckus ,

some guys had lost all their

money playing five-card stud:

hyped up they took to smoking joints

and drinking in their pickup truck,

later she strolled nonchalantly

across their feral radar;

after they gagged her

they took turns,

when they’d finished,an old baseball

bat was smashed across her face;

two days later she woke up,

her face all broken,

bandages over her eyes,

a newspaper left by her bedside

reported a candidate’s speech,

” we must restore law and order”

had her eyes seen that story,

her dyslexia would’ve let

those words escape her.

THE DARKEST DAY OF MY LIFE..OUR SYSTEMS ARE NOT MEANT TO HELP OUR CHILDREN

13 Jun

I don’t post this for a sympathy vote or any other self seeking
venture..I post this to make people aware that we have an epidemic
world wide with our children just going and killing their selves because there is no help..Look at all these cards..

These were in Christophers pocket the day he hung himself at work in his tea break..Our systems offer no help to our young..

WE MUST HAVE MORE TO OFFER OUR CHILDREN WHEN THEY ARE CRYING OUT FOR HELP..IT WAS’NT THAT CHRIS WAS NOT TALKING TO ANYONE..I HAD FRIENDS ROUND HIM ALL THE TIME AND HE WAS TALKING..HE HAD FRIENDS HE WAS SPEAKING TO..HE HAD STARTED TRAINING TO BE A LANDSCAPE GARDENER FELLING TREES.ALL HIS TOOLS WERE IN THE CELLAR…WHEN HIS WORK STARTED TO MESS HIM AROUND HE LOOKED AHEAD AND HAD A PLAN…

THE ONLY THING THATS MISSING HERE IS A SCRUMPLED UP PRESCRIPTION FOR 25 PARACETAMOL..AND HIS LIST FOR THE BOYS SANDWICHES THAT MORNING..HIS WORLK WERE IN MOURNING FOR THE LOSS OF A GREAT FREIND AND FAITHFUL WORKER..

FOR YOUR CHILDREN AND ALLCHILDREN PLEASE LET’S START LOOKING INTO OUR SYSTEMS FAILURE TO HELP OUR CHILDREN.

CHRIS WAS 23 YEARS OLD..AND A BEAUTIFUL BOY..HE HAD A BIG ALCOHOL PROBLEM JUST LIKE ME..I AM SOBER 22 YEARS.
SO ANY BAD THAT CHRIS DID I KNEW WAS THE OLD DEAMON ALCOHOL..NOT CHRISTOPHER..

HE WORKED ALL THE TIME..WHEN HE GOT PAID OFF ONCE HE COMBED THE INDUSTRIAL ESTATES FOR 3 MONTHS, NOT SIGNING ON BECAUSE HE COULD NOT GIVE MY ADDRESS AND HE COULD NOT LIE..

HIS END WAS A BIG BIN WHICH HE WAS SEEN LIFTING ON CCTV WHEN THEY WERE ALL HAVING A SMOKE AT TEA BREAK.. HE GOT BARRED WIRE AND JUMPED FROM A TREE..

HE DID NOT WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS WORLD…

I HAVE MY BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES AND I HAD QUALITY TIME…WE NEVER KNOW WHATS IN FRONT OF US..

CHERISH THE ONES YOU LOVE AND BE THEIR FRIEND…
